What are the classifications of polypropylene fibers
1、 Polypropylene monofilament fiber
Polypropylene monofilament fiber is a high-strength bundled monofilament fiber made mainly from polypropylene resin through production processes such as melting, extrusion, stretching, modification, and cutting. The surface is rough and porous, greatly improving the bonding strength between the fiber and cement-based aggregate; And polypropylene monofilament fibers improve the performance of concrete by reducing the occurrence and quantity of primary cracks, without any conflict or chemical reaction with concrete aggregates, additives, admixtures, and cement, thus having good adaptability to concrete materials.
2、 Polypropylene mesh fiber
Polypropylene mesh fiber is a high-strength bundled monofilament or mesh organic fiber made from modified polypropylene as raw material, processed through extrusion, stretching, mesh forming, surface modification treatment, short cutting and other processes. Its appearance is a mesh structure composed of multiple fiber monofilaments interconnected, with characteristics such as strong acid resistance, strong alkali resistance, and extremely stable chemical properties; It can control the occurrence and extension of cracks in concrete, and improve the impermeability, impact resistance, and seismic resistance of concrete.
